As only one month remains before we can close over to the election month, Mizani Africa have today released a longer list of leading governor candidates for five counties as illustrated below;
Nakuru
Current senator and UDA candidate Susan Kihika stands a better chance to unseat incumbent Jubilee governor Lee Kinyanjui. Susan leads with 58.1% followed by Lee with 35.1%.
Murang'a
Jamleck Kamau who is the Jubilee candidate is leading with 30.8%, Wairagu Wa Maai comes second with 26.2% while UDA candidate Irungu Kangata comes second with 25.5%.
Tharaka Nithi
Current governor Muthomi is likely to retain his seat leading with 50.7% and followed closely by Erastus Njoka with 44.5%.
Kajiado
United Democratic Alliance flagbearer Katoo Ole Metito has emerged top with 37.8% and followed by current governor Joseph Ole Lenku of Orange Democratic Movement with 34%.
Garissa
Former first governor Nathif Adam is leading with 42.4% and incumbent governor Ali Korane comes second with 33.3%.
