As much as many could think that it is a two horse race between the deputy president William Ruto and the ODM party leader Raila Odinga, there are other 45 presidential candidates who have already been cleared up with the IEBC.
Leaders across the country are taking sides, aligning themselves with the best coalitions that night help them remain in power after August.
The cabinet secretaries have also shown their much interest in the upcoming general elections with most of them resigning from their position to go and run for an elective seat back in their homes.
Others are However just remaining in the offices but still campaigning for their favorite candidates.
As Kenyans are aware,Najib Balala is one of the leaders who flourished well before 2013 in the coast and could easily be dubbed the coast region kingpin, but for this election, the latter has gone silent.
Najib Balala unlike other cabinet secretaries has not shown any color whether blue or yellow. He is very silent on matters politics of the country.
As a leader and a politician, most people are expecting Najib Balala to take stands between supporting the deputy president William Ruto and his former boss in ODM Raila Odinga.
Is it that Najib Balala is playing safe to be appointed in the next Government by whoever will become the president?
