Orange Democratic Movement party leader Raila Odinga took his presidential popularization campaign in the Western region where he is expected to camp for five days as he looks to maintain his support base.
However, there was a moment of drama after the former Prime Minister paused his speech as one elderly woman was trying to make her way near him.
In a video posted by one of the local stations, Raila Odinga is seen urging the crowd to let the woman access him and in the process purchasing the chicken.
This just comes days after Deputy President William Ruto did the same in Murang’a County, where he purchased a goat for sh 50,000 from one of the residents during his campaign trail.
