The announcement of UDA's presidential candidate , William Samoei Ruto as the president-elect has elicited reactions from different leaders from different parts of the world with many of them congratulating Ruto for winning the elections.
Today , Israel president , Isaac Herzog has joined other leaders in congratulating Ruto for winning the presidential elections.According to the reports , president Isaac has also invited Ruto to Jerusalem for an official visit as Kenya's president-elect.
Ruto who is also the incumbent deputy president of Kenya clinched the presidential race after beating his close competitor , Raila Amollo Odinga.Even as Ruto is congratulated , Raila Odinga had already rejected the presidential results.
Azimio have actually already filled a petition to reject Ruto's win claiming that the presidential election results were tampered with.The Supreme Court is therefore set to hear the petition and make the ruling on the same.
