Raila's Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party has threatened to withdraw the Ksh. 153 Million offers to offer to its partners after announcing its exit from the troubled NASA. According to the report by Local Daily on Friday, 30th July, the ODM party during a meeting held on Thursday resolved to reconsider the decision to share the political parties funding with their coalition partners if they continue chest thumping.
According to a statement issued by the party, NASA co-principles were alleging that they pushed Raila into submission making him to agree sharing the funds. It has however emerged that Raila Odinga made surprise move to ditch the NASA coalition to engage new players without conditions from it's current partners.
Sources aware of the meeting say that Raila revealed that he is keen to engage the former NASA partners individuals going to the next level. Already, ANC party led by Musalia Mudavadi and Wiper party led by Kalonzo Musyoka had resolved to exit the coalition but but have not yet formally written to the Office of the Registrar of Political Parties (ORPP)
