Dagoretti North member of parliament Simba Arati is among several candidates eyeing the Kisii gubernatorial seat that will bring together current senator professor Sam Ongeri through DAP-K party, Nyaribari Masaba member of parliament Ezekiel Machogu, former chief administrative secretary Chris Obure, Kenya Nstional Congress party leader Manson Oyongo among many other aspirants.
Simba Arati who is a leading candidate in the governor race using the Orange Democratic Movement party ticket has hit out at current governor James Ongwae for using his communication team to defame him in the county, Arati claims that more worse the team are using the church as a weapon against him.
Arati has accussed two allies of the governor for claiming that him (Simba) bribed pastors in their meeting with religious leaders, the MP has said that they are now fed up with the two and a serious legal action is looming calling on his opponent to have boundaries with the church and avoid abusing them.
