The latest opinion poll from Mizani Africa has confirmed that Uhuru's jubilee party is experiencing difficult times on Kiambu County. The poll shows that at the moment, Karungo was Thangwa of UDA party is commanding a lead on the senate race at 56 percent as opposed to Michael Waikenda of jubilee at only 25 percent. This is after another poll also showed Wamatangi of UDA leading.

This is without a doubt bad news to Uhuru Kenyatta for it's clear he comes from Kiambu County and it's his home County. Since he joined hands with Raila Odinga, the president has completely lost the Mt Kenya region block to William Ruto and this opinion polls just confirm of the obvious reality come August 9th polls.
President Uhuru Kenyatta has been saying that his jubilee leaders will win seats in Mt Kenya region block but opinion polls show otherwise. The most likely events is that, UDA party might sweep all the seats in the Mt Kenya region block despite Uhuru coming from there.
This is also bad news to Raila Odinga as it just confirms his allies stand a little chance to be elected in parliament. This means Raila can win presidential elections but again he will face a huge challenge for lack of enough generals in parliament to help steer the government agenda forward.
