The Amount Of Money Uhuru Will Pocket Once He Hands Power To President Elect William Ruto

The Star said that in only two weeks, President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto would get millions of shillings in retirement perks and farewell gifts. The President of Kenya, one of the wealthiest people in Kenya, will get a one-time bonus of 34.6 million Kenyan shillings (Sh34.6 million) and a lifetime annuity of 1.2 million Kenyan shillings (Sh1.2 million) every month.

The outgoing President would also be entitled to an Sh300,000 monthly housing allowance and an Sh200,000 monthly entertainment allowance. Infrastructure funding for electricity, water, and telephones totaling Sh300,000. This funding is being provided to Uhuru. Uhuru will be provided with four automobiles: two brand new vehicles of the President's choosing, to be replaced every three years; and two four-wheel drive vehicles.

To add to the 24/7 surveillance already in place. There will be four drivers under his employment. They are part of the comprehensive retirement benefits package established by the Presidential Retirement Benefits Act of 2003.
