Deputy President William Ruto has today assures all Kenyan and aspiring political leaders that unfair nomination for UDA Party tickets will be a thing of the past even as the nation prepares to conduct its next general election.
Speaking after meeting with all grassroots leaders, supporters, and his close allies from his official Karen residence, the second in command has admitted that unfair nomination exercise (s) has been the root cause for poor leadership and Governance. Also, Ruto has delivered good news after promising to nominate all those who will lose during the preliminaries in 2022.
"Free, fair and transparency nominations will be the bedrock of the United Democratic Alliance as we seek to build a national democratic party where every opinion counts," Ruto Said.
According to the star, In a statement on Monday, the governors said their meeting with Raila will be followed by a series of other consultative meetings across the region that will conclude with a declaration.
