Uhuru Had Agreed to Hand Over Power to Raila, But This is What Kindiki Allegedly Did

Deputy President William Ruto and Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition presidential candidate Raila Odinga are embroiled in a cut-throat competition to succeed president Uhuru Kenyatta.
Kenya Kwanza camp today rallied Meru county to popularize their presidential candidate Ruto. They made several stop overs in Rubiri Shopping Centre in South Imenti, Kithirune Town in Central Imenti, Kaguma Trading Centre in Central Imenti and Chuguu, North Imenti.
He was in the company of his running mate Rigathi Gachagua, Justin Muturi, Mithika Linturi, Kathuri Murungi, Moses Kirima, Halima Mucheke, Kithure Kindiki, Ndindi Nyoro, among other leaders.
Kindiki, while addressing residents, revealed that he was the one who teared a piece of paper containing Uhuru's agreement to hand over powers to Raila. He added that they tirelessly campaigned for Uhuru when he lost hope of winning the 2017 election.
Gachagua told resident not to be deceived by Uhuru and Raila dragging them to be behind the high cost of living. He urged residents to vote UDA candidate Mintika Linturi and Ruto promising to lower cost of fertilizers.
