Ruto Hosts Former Mudavadi’s Allies in Day Two of Summit and Why Western Might Surprise Many In 2022

Khalwale who campaigned For Musalia attending the summit

Today the deputy president is hosting the second day of the Economic Forum for the western region. He is seeking to make known some of his agenda for the region. of importance to note is the presence of leaders from the region who were allied to Musalia Mudavadi in the last election.

The region which has constantly been divided might surprise the nation in the 2022 polls after calls for unity have continued to fill the air. So far Ruto commands a huge following from the region with a huge percent of the current leaders rallying behind William Ruto in his bid to succeed Uhuru Kenyatta.

In the previous polls, Raila has won greatly beating Musalia and Wetangula combined. However, 2022 could see a different scenario since Ruto will be making his first attempt in the said presidential polls. Whether the region will support him in the said polls is something that opinion leaders await to see.

Here are some images from the said event;
