Kenyan Head of State president Uhuru Kenyatta has arrived at the Kenyatta University Teaching and Referral Hospital for a high profile event.
He is being accompanied to the event by the First Lady Mama Margaret Kenyatta and received by high profile leaders including the Cabinet Secretary in charge of the Ministry of Health CS Mutahi Kagwe.
The KUTRH Board of Directors Chairperson professor Olive Mugenda is also present at the event with the area governor His Excellency governor James Nyoro also present.
The Intergrated Molecular Imaging and Hospitality Centre (IMIC) will become the first one ever in the country which will go a long way towards improving healthcare services in the country.
The Intergrated Molecular Imaging and Hospitality Centre was developed as part of Govt efforts to expand access to cancer treatment in the country.
The Hospitality Centre has a capacity to host up to 100 patients and their families during their stay at the Hospital.￼￼￼.
