Taifa Leo's Headline highlighted that Wiper Party leader, Kalonzo Musyoka's "price" has reduced after his party lost the Nguu-Masumba ward by-election in Ukambani. His negotiating power in the high table is believed to have reduced after losing the by-election in his own backyard.
Timothy Maneno who ran on an Independent Party won the By-election after garnering 2,902 out of the total 6,776 as he was followed closely by UDA Party candidate who garnered 2,219 votes. Wiper Party Candidate came a distant third with 1.614 votes. Machakos Governor, Dr. Alfred Mutua when reacting to Kalonzo Musyoka's loss reinstated that it's high time Ukambani region gets liberated.
