Statehouse Reveals What Kenyans Should Expect On Wednesday from President Uhuru Kenyatta

According to the Statehouse Kenya Official Facebook page, the head of state will on Tuesday be expected to make an address to the whole nation through parliament a move that is well enshrined in the constitution. The public delivery is expected to touch on an array of issues including the 2022 election and the logistics.

The press delivery comes at a time when the nation is deeply engulfed in the campaigns with the two main contenders traversing the country in a bid to solidify their bases ahead of the polls which is less than a year ahead.

It is still unclear whether the deputy president will attend the event especially now that he skipped the devolution conference last week which he was expected to close with his speech. The president is mandated by the constitution to make an address every year to address the pertinent issues that affect the country and the running of government.
