Today was a big day in deed as Gachagua had a chance to visit Eldoret in Uasin Gishu and meet the people in DP Ruto's political bedroom. This is the first time the people of Eldoret are interacting with Gachagua for the first time in the absence of DP Ruto.
Gachagua was given a chance to speak to the people of Uasin Gishu about economic matters affecting them. Gachagua was warmly welcomed by the Kalenjin people who seemed very curious to see the one man, Rigathi Gachagua who DP Ruto preferred to form a government with them. This was a great day in deed as the streets were filled to capacity.

This marked the end of tribal politics which is greatly affecting people. Something that created some hatred between Kalenjin and Kikuyu over the 207/2008 incident. It was very clear that the people just wanted to see him face to face.
