National rainbow Coalition (NARC) Kenya party leader Martha Karua has been in the limelight over the last couple of weeks following her recent political moves with several Mt Kenya region leaders who have been championing for the region's unity.
And now, the NARC Kenya party leader has taken to social media to make two crucial announcements at the same time. She announced a reiteration of her earlier stance that she will not contest for the presidency in 2022 but will instead battle it out with current Kirinyaga County governor Anne Waiguru for the prestigious seat.
But above all, Martha Karua has announced that she has turned 64 years of age and that she will use the experience she has gained over the years to serve not only the Kirinyaga County residents but also kenyans at large.
"Today I celebrate 64 years of hits and misses all providing valuable lessons which I hope to apply in service of kirinyaga people and by extension kenya," she said.
This announcement left many kenyans reacting as they flooded her social media handle with heartwarming messages of goodwill and special prayers, wishing her well.
