The 2022 elections will be a different one from the previous polls simply because tribalism is something of the past and Martha Karua, a woman will be playing at the highest league in Kenyan politics. Martha's entry into national politics has caused several changes in terms of the popularity of Ruto and Raila across Kenya.
Martha Karua was poised to vie for the kirinyaga gubernatorial seat and Raila Odinga decided to appoint him in the position of running mate. Kalonzo decided to bolt out of the azimio la Umoja coalition after he said that the move to appoint Kalonzo as running mate was a betrayal to the Kamba nation.
Ann Waiguru has sent bad news to the azimio la Umoja group. Waiguru told azimio that the entry of Martha Karua as running mate will not change the fact that Kirinyaga is a UDA zone.
