Chack What Kenyans Said After Ruto Was Spotted In A Queue To Receive Food At Parliament

The Internet has heated up after president William Ruto was spotted interacting with legislators and other members of staff at the National Assembly. Kenyans took to their social media pages to give different reactions to the head of State interacting with the people.

The president on Wednesday made an impromptu visit to the parliament buildings during the afternoon hours. He then joined the parliamentarians at the canteen so that they could have lunch before going back for the evening session. Like the other members of parliament, Ruto queued to be served and he waited patiently for his turn.

After the photo went viral on Facebook Kenyans came out to speculate different opinions. Some lauded him for being a humble man as he did not act superior even though he is. Others however criticized him saying he was clout chasing in preparation for 2027 reelection. Kenyans were also quick to notice that the meals the parliamentarians are expensive as they questioned why ugali is not served.

Below are some of the comments Kenyans left on Facebook.
