In the recent past after storming out of Azimio-Oka coalition after failing to secure the running mate position Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has received alot of criticism especially from leaders from his Ukambani region most having the view that Kalonzo should have taken the position of the chief cabinet secretary which was awarded to him in the coalition.

In the recent past we've also witnessed some professionals and clerics from Ukambani urging the Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka to reconsider his decision to run for president and instead re-open talks with the Azimio-One Kenya coalition. In statement read on their behalf by Ben Mwongela, the professionals said Mr Musyoka’s best chances are in Azimio.
