In the recent past after storming out of Azimio-Oka coalition after failing to secure the running mate position Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has received alot of criticism especially from leaders from his Ukambani region most having the view that Kalonzo should have taken the position of the chief cabinet secretary which was awarded to him in the coalition.
Kalonzo Musyoka held a meeting today with wiper aspirants at the Stony Athi Resort in Machakos county 45 out of 50 aspirants voted for the decision of Kalonzo Musyoka going back to the Azimio-OKA coalition and taking up the position awarded to him in the coalition.
In the recent past we've also witnessed some professionals and clerics from Ukambani urging the Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka to reconsider his decision to run for president and instead re-open talks with the Azimio-One Kenya coalition.In statement read on their behalf by Ben Mwongela, the professionals said Mr Musyoka’s best chances are in Azimio. Going it alone will not be good for the Kamba community, the statement said.
