Ex-Busia Woman Rep Florence Mutua Reacts to President Ruto's Successful Tour to Nyanza Region

Former Busia Woman Representative Florence Mutua has lauded Nyanza Region for welcoming and embracing President William Ruto during his two-day official visit to the region.

Ruto started his tour in Homa Bay county on Friday where he was hosted by Governor Gladys Wanga and Senator Moses Kajwang among other leaders, before he toured Kisumu where he was welcomed by Governor Anyang Nyong'o.

He also had a private session with Migori Governor Ochilo Ayacko and some of his team before he toured Siaya County on Saturday where he was hosted by Governor James Orengo after which he attended CS Eliud Owalo's homecoming and thanksgiving service.

Taking to her Twitter account, Mutua who also attended Owalo's function at Rarieda Constituency said that the president's visit and how warmly he was welcomed shows that all leaders across the political divide want to unite and work together for the sake of the electorates

"Joined CS Owalo for his thanksgiving at Rarieda today. Development was a major factor and all Leaders working together despite their political affiliation. This is good for devolution /Country. Well done Nyanza," she tweeted.

All the leaders who spoke during Ruto's visit assured him that they are going to work with his Kenya Kwanza government, with some reinstating that their counties are still in the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance camp, and which is led by the Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.

Some lauded Ruto for appointing CS Owalo, further urging him to appoint more leaders from the Luo Region in to his government.

Ruto in his part assured the leaders that he will work with everyone irrespective of who they were supporting for presidency during the August polls, adding that all stalled projects will be completed.
