When one talks about Musalia Mudavadi, Kalonzo Musyoka and Raila Odinga, what comes in the minds of many Kenyans is the NASA Coalition. That is because the coalition was one of the strongest the country has ever seen and how it ended up losing in the general election is still a story for another day.
Although the other NASA principals are not working well with Raila Odinga, they have been together in the BBI matters. They have been pushing the Bill together and after the High Court ruled against them, they were frustrated together.
As we are speaking, there is a looming danger to Raila Odinga, Musalia Mudavadi and Kalonzo Musyoka after they woke up to news revealed about President Uhuru and his allies. If that is the case, the three leaders are actually hanging on the balance figuring out what they can do next because they may be left alone.
According to reports, President Uhuru Kenyatta has not yet spoken since the High Court ruled against the BBI Bill but worse enough, it is said that his allies are playing safe as they plot their next political move. That is because they may be aware that efforts to overturn the High Court's ruling may not be successful.
With that in mind, Raila, Kalonzo and Mudavadi may be at the crossroads. They may be facing a dilemma of whether to push on or back off.
