Since residents of Nakuru county received the good news whereby it was officially changed from being a town to city, much developments have been witnessed. This ranges from the Central Business District being renovated on pavements. Traders were treated to much surprise too. This was after the government allegedly disbursed billions of money to ensure businesses continues booming.
A contract which was signed by President Uhuru Kenyatta was to give out one point five billion shillings. This is expected to see the construction of larger markets which can accommodate more traders too. They are set to be set up in sub counties to ease revenue collection by the government.
