A woman dressed in yellow outfielder caused a scene in Mathira today during the burial of Rigathi Gachagua's late brother. The deputy president had already given his speech and then welcomed President Ruto. As Ruto started his speech, she dashed out as she attempted to make her way to the podium where William Ruto was speaking.
She kept wailing even as William Ruto kept telling her, "nimekusikia tutaongea" William Ruti even went ahead to tell her that Rachel Ruto was around and that she would take care of her. She was at this time held by the presidential security team who ensured she didn't access the dias.

William Ruto thanked the people of Mathira for giving him "kanda ya wira" a name he uses to refer to Deputy president Rigathi Gachagua. He then urged the leaders who were elected to ensure that they deliver for the people. ''Wananchi wanangoja tutimize upande wetu, " he finished.
