Today's Azimio La Umoja event led by ODM party leader Raila Odinga at Ololunga, Narok was brought to a temporarily paused over security breach after an elderly man fired at Garissa township member of the Aden Duale for rallying Somali community behind the second in command of Kenya.
The elderly man had urged all of the Narok residents and the whole Somali community to vote massively for Raila Odinga in the forthcoming August general elections, encouraging them that the ODM party leader Raila Odinga is the only aspirant who is capable of solving problems of Somali community.
“To our brothers in North Eastern, you have totally lost your way. Where Aden Duale is going there's neither a meat nor a soup. I urge all Somali to vote for Baba." The elderly man stated.
His statement erupted chaos and the event was temporarily paused and the MC asked the security to clear the Dias.
“This meeting cannot go on for those who are standing on the dias. This is a security breach and you must go down. Security clear the dias please." ODM secretary general Edwin Sifuna ordered after the event was paused.
