Justin Muturi got a minor accident at his official office in Nairobi which injured his right hand shoulder on December last year. This happened three weeks before national assembly recess.
Today the national assembly speaker took his presidential campaigns in Mount Kenya region. Muturi is currently meeting opinion leaders and grassroot leaders from Gatundu South constituency in Kiambu county.
" It's an honor today to share ideas with opinion leaders from Gatundu South constituency in Kiambu county" wrote Justin Muturi on his official Facebook page.
Muturi will share his presidential manifesto to the people of Gatundu South constituency and larger Kiambu county. He is also expected to make several stop overs in the county to popularize his presidential bid to local residents.
Justin Muturi was nominated by Democratic party of Kenya as their preferred presidential candidate in Nyeri last year. The party leaders and officials vowed to popularize Muturi's presidential bid at the grassroot levels.
Speaker Justin Muturi is one of the presidential aspirants from larger Mount Kenya region. Other aspirants from the region includes Muranga governor Mwangi Wa Iria and billionaire Jimmy Wanjingi who hails from Muranga county.
