There was cheers and Celebrations today in Raila's rally in Mt Kenya and specifically Nanyuki after a UDA Mobiliser from the region defected and joined the Azimio la Umoja in a packed rally that was attended by Raila Odinga and Martha Karua among other leaders from the area.
Laikipia Governor Nderitu Muriithi welcoming Charles to the Coalition
While receiving Charles Kariuki to the party Raila's chief campaigner who doubles up as Laikipia Governor welcomed him to the winning team saying that the ground had shifted and therefore the need to have a team that will achieve the aspirations of the locals in the coming election.
While making his speech in the rally, Charles repealed that the current situation and political landscape only favours Raila and Martha Karua and therefore his decision to join the party with a huge following in the country. He now says he will mobilise his friends and team to ensure that Raila wins in the coming election.
