The former Prime Minister Raila Amollo Odinga is making Azimio La Umoja in Nyeri county where he has received a huge reception and was received by top Kikuyu Elders. In a speech Kikuyu Elders have given the former Prime minister two commands ahead of the 2022 general elections.
The Kikuyu Elders through their Spokesman thanked the former Prime minister Raila Amollo Odinga for visiting the area and for working close with the current president in the betterment of the country. Though they urged the former Prime minister to make sure they are represented well in the next government and during this campaign period.
They have said that Raila must consider giving them top seats ahead of 2022 as they agreed with the current president Hon Uhuru Kenyatta.
Kikuyu Elders also told the former Prime Minister Raila Amollo Odinga that he must look at the agricultural sector and marketing of their products at the international market. These two requests will help them issue their allegiance to him ahead of 2022.
