The search for Former prime minister Raila Odinga's running mate in still on with Jubilee party proposing Peter Kenneth and Murang'a county Women Representative Sabina Chege to appear in the panel for interviews and test their luck.
Sabina Chege has however spew bad news to Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka, and Martha Karua after she alleged her wish that Mr Odinga should consider getting a running mate not only from Jubilee Party but also from Mt Kenya.
While speaking, Chege argued that Jubilee is the first party that formed a pact with ODM to form Azimio, and it also have more supporters who will translate into numbers come August 9 polls as they are looking forward to beat deputy President William Ruto's Kenya Kwanza brigade.
Chege's proposal leaves Kalonzo Musyoka and Martha Karua out of the running mate race, with the former vice president not being a person from Mt Kenya and also not being a member of Jubilee, and Martha Karua locked out since she is not a Jubilee Party member too.
"Kama Mlima tungeshukuru sana baba angepata running mate kutoka Jubilee na mlima Kenya Ili sisi pia tukue pale kwa sababu kando na ODM, Jubilee ndio ile party ilikua second kufanya pact na baba," Chege has said.
