One of the 38 Independent presidential candidates who have been cleared by the Independent Electoral and Bounderies Commission (IEBC) Nazlin Omar, has found herself in trouble with the supporters of Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance presidential candidate Raila. After she claimed that the former Prime Minister Raila Odinga is a state project of President Uhuru Kenyatta, hence he should not be allowed by IEBC to run for presidency because the government is plotting to rig the election for him.

Speaking to the members of the press conference as quoted by the Standard Digital Newspaper, Nazlin says the IEBC should not clear Raila to run for presidency because the government is using state resources to campaign for Odinga. She argued that Cabinet Secretaries are being involved in campaigning for Azimio leader Raila Odinga which is against the law and the president is busy leading his campaigns.

They added that she is just looking for seeking for claut and relevence because she usually disappears after every election.
