A signboard that was mounted by the Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KURA) in Marsabit country have sparked mixed reactions online after hawk-eyed online users spotted the mistake on the signboard.
The Kenya Urban Roads Authority mounted the signboard to advertise their project which included the upgrading of a road link in Marsabit town.
Concerned netizens have noticed that the KURA signboard shows two contradicting dates. The commencement date and the completion dates of the KURA project in Marsabit are confusing. KURA is a body that is charged with the mandate of improving the condition of roads in all urban settlement in the country.

The commencement date of the project has been indicated as 5th December 2022 and the completion date as 5th May 2022. This implies that the completion date of the project comes before the kick off date of the project.
