OPINION: Why Mt Kenya Tycoons' Decision to Endorse Raila's 2022 Bid Could Automatically Propell Ruto

The star newspaper has now reported that it's evident that President Uhuru Kenyatta's Mt Kenya region has endorsed the ODM Party Leader Raila Odinga's 20222 Presidential bid.

This follows the explosion of some confirmed reports that the team of wealthy billionaires has ruled out any of the One Kenya Alliance Leader's capability to Marshall big numbers ahead of the upcoming 2022 general election, and as far as Mt Kenya region politics are concerned.

"The Mount Kenya Foundation has finally settled on ODM leader Raila Odinga as its preferred presidential candidate in the 2022 General Elections.

"A source privy to the details revealed to the Star that MKF is set to hold a leaders meeting on Wednesday to endorse the decision.

"They will then announce the ODM leader as their candidate, ahead of the Azimio la Umoja Convention set for Friday, at the Kasarani stadium, The star has reported.

But how many are aware that in every action or decision made some consequences must follow? Will Mt KenTycoons'ons decision to endorse Raila Odinga's 2022 Presidential Bid cost President Uhuru Kenyatta's political legacy just as it was the case in the days of Moi in 2002?Well, with this comes barely hours after Former Kiambu County Governor Hon William Kabogo (During an exclusive interview with NTV) warned that any attempt to frame the ODM Party leader as a state project will end up in premium tears, it's now evident that things could turn out to be messy in the coming days.

Also, there are arguments and claims that Uhuru's visible hand in Raila's 2022 Presidential campaign could end up like that of the BBI process where kenyans were made to believe that BBI was dangerous to them.

Speaking to NTV Sasa Program on Tuesday, Peter Kagwanja (Political analyst) has also expressed his worries that Ruto's continued campaigns will make it impossible for Raila who has state sponsored tag to reverse the mins of kenyans.
