Dr William Ruto is the current deputy president of the republic of Kenya who deputizes President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Today, Ruto has taken his political tour to Mt Kenya region in Nyeri county for a three day rally. Dr Ruto has brought business into a standstill in Karatina town where he was addressing the huge crowd that attended his political rally.
DP Ruto has declared his presidential bid ahead of the 2022 general elections that will be held on 9th February. Ruto will contest for the top seat on the United Democratic Alliance party that is championing for the hustler narrative.
The second in command was accompanied by top government lawmakers such as Mathira Constituency member of parliament Hon. Rigathi Gachagua, Ndindi Nyoro, Kimani Ichungwa and Alice Wahome in a move to solidify the 2022 votes in Mt. Kenya region.
In conclusion, addressing the citizens at Karatina town, Ruto promised to provide for more funds in order to boost small scale traders if elected the president.
