The cabinet Secretary of Public service, Affirmative and Gender in Kenya, Hon. Aisha Jumwa Katana ha rolled out another requirement to be strictly followed during recruitment and promotions in the public service. Despite all the documentation and Curriculum Vitae provided by those searching for employment in public service offices she added gender equality. 
Aisha Jumwa has stated that all recruitment and promotions should follow and uphold the gender rule. According to 2010 promulgated constitution, the 2/3 gender rule should be strictly followed in all government offices. Equality should be met and there should be no discrimination against gender. 
Aisha Jumwa since being sworn to office has be fighting for the 2/3 gender rule to be implemented by the government. President Ruto is attempting on the gender rule issue. In his appointment of CSs and PSs he has appointed a number of women.
Kenya Kwanza government is ready putting effort to meet the standard required by law.
