Huge Blow To Presidential Candidate Walter Mon'gare Over His Academic Papers

Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission Chairman Wafula Chebukati has this evening revoked Presidential nomination certificate issued to one aspirant Walter Mong'are after discovering his academic certificates had irregularities.

This comes shortly after Safina presidential aspirant Jimi Wanjigi who was disqualified by the Electoral body questioned how and why IEBC cleared Mong'are without a degree certificates.

The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission would later summon Mongare for a meeting this afternoon after which he was disqualified.

Mongare an aspirant on the Umoja Summit party became one of the five presidential candidates who were cleared to run for the presidency in the upcoming polls scheduled for the August 9th this year.

A degree requirement is one of the requirements for one to vie for the presidency according to the constitution of Kenya. Just today Wanjigi's bid was rejected after it was found that He has no degree qualification.
