Orange Democratic Movement has reacted after President Uhuru Kenyatta's Statehouse meeting with Members of Parliament as well as Senators, praising the Head of State.
Opiyo Wandayi who is the ODM Secretary for political Affairs has penned in his social media congratulating President Uhuru Kenyatta for convening a meeting with the legislative leadership.
The Ugunja Legislator has informed that the meeting has served a crucial role as it strengthens working relationship in the executive.
"Thanks to His Excellency the President @StateHouseKenya for convening this meeting with legislative leadership. Harmonizing tunes and working relationship even as we oversite the executive and its agents is critical. We must put the interest of the Kenyan people ahead of ours," ODM Secretary for Political Affairs has penned.
Wiper, Mutula Kilonzo had also penned in his social media appreciating the Head of State for the meeting asserting that "Kudos to the Head of State for convening this meeting. Looking forward to a seamless legislative process with the National Assembly and better cooperation by the Executive as we oversight them."
However, despite the congratulatory remarks controversy has sparked with several Tangatanga Leaders led by Deputy President William Ruto failing to attend the crucial event.
The cause of missing the event is that they had accompanied to Second on Command in his Meru County tour.
