After the last general election the Azimio coalition led by the former prime minister Hon Raila Odinga present their petition to challenge the election of Dr William Ruto as the president of the republic of Kenya. During the hearing at the Supreme Court the name of advocate Julie Soweto, was in everyone's mouth following her well presentation at the supreme court the case that was filed by the former prime minister Hon Raila Odinga and his colleagues of Azimio coalition.
Following her well presentation which she articulated in the supreme court made the former Nairobi county governor Dr Evans Kidero to pick her as his lawyer based on the case he filed challenging the election of Hon Gladys Wanga as the Homabay County Governor.
The high court upheld the election of Hon Gladys Wanga making Dr Evans Kidero to face blows. The governor will be charged to pay governor and her deputy and the IEBC body in charge of election.
