Few hours after the deputy president of Kenya announced a directive given to the DCI on visits made to governmental offices conserning corruption, Linus Kaikai who is a royal media member of staff has given a different opinion while speaking at the news gang show held every Thursday at 9:00 pm.

According to Linus, the attention to this whole matter should be drawn on a few sensible facts such as transactions by officials that have drawn the attention of the crime and criminal investigators " Nearly all high level corruption cases, whether goldenberg or Anglo leasing, Afya house or NYS scandal have traces, direct lines to physical addresses that end up being goverment offices", Says Linus Kaikai.

He has gone ahead to make a reminder on the records of the ethic and unti corruption commission (EACC) which show that there are several governor's that have active cases of corruption in court " On the deputy presidents assurance to governance, a reminder is pertinent that official reports from different state agencies have highlighted cases of corruption in counties. Record of the ethics and unti corruption commissions (EACC) for example show that there are several governor's who have active cases in court", he adds.

His conclusion states that there is corruption at both levels of government and there are suspects for each of those cases which therefore means that corruption in official offices cannot just be ignored " The bottom line is that there is corruption at both levels of government and there are suspects for each of those cases... whether denied or ignored, official corruption remains the elephant in Kenyas governance room", Linus Kaikai.
