Kenyan MP Escapes Death By A Whisker After Going Out To Swim In South Sudan

People who do not know how to swim should not dare to do so unless they have undergone intensive training beforehand. A Kenyan Member of Parliament from the Western region, had to learn that the hard way after he went out for a swim in South Sudan during his recreational time.

One of the fresh men in Parliament who is a representative for Mumias East Peter Silasya, was the victim of the sad and unfortunate spate of events. According to the parliamentarian, he had gone out for a swim but he almost died in the water. Most Kenyans who reacted to his post, we're however unsympathetic towards him as they wondered what on earth he was thinking.

Others questioned why he did not know how to swim in the first place. The majority however questioned why anyone would want to enter the deep end of any swimming pool without having prior experience. Mr Silasya pictured himself in a Thanksgiving ceremony whereby he thanked God for saving his life and urged Kenyans not to enter swimming pools without knowing how to swim.

"I was almost dead in the swimming pool but I was rescued wacha yesu aitwe yesu." "I will never go back to a swimming pool." "Kama hujui kuswim like me, please don't enter that thing." The MP warned.
