As the clock moves faster towards August 2022, Kenyan presidential aspirants have not mentioned their running mates. So far the major opponents are Raila Odinga and William Ruto. One Kenya Alliance is yet to announce their flag bearer or whether they will support UDA or ODM. Having a strong and influential running mate is key to winning an election.
William Ruto has been moving around in his campaign rallies with many leaders. If you have been keen, there is one particular Mt. Kenya leader who has never missed these occasions. This is none other than Kiharu Member of Parliament Ndindi Nyoro. He has been all over with Ruto.
In his addresses, William Ruto has never missed welcoming him to speak while showering blessing on him. Nyoro has been a diehard supporter of Ruto since the time of the Jubilee coalition till now. He has been supporting his side even in parliamentary controversial bill amendments. He is also loved so much by UDA supporters. They do cheer him so much whenever he speaks.
The big question is, does Ruto do this in the process of building and shaping him as his 2022 presidential running mate?
