It was on Monday when news broke out that John Oroo Oyioka, MP Bonchari constituency had passed while undergoing treatment at Agha Khan Hospital in Kisumu. National Assembly Speaker Justin Muturi who confirmed his death described him as "a distinguished lawmaker."
His demise occurred on the same day that we lost another prominent leader in the country. Garrissa Senator succumbed to death after a very long illness. He was buried on the same day at the Langata Muslims Cemetery in Nairobi.
On the same day veteran politician Charles Nyachae was laid to rest in kisii county. He died on the 1st of February after a very long illness.
MP Jaguar as he is commonly known took to his Twitter account to celebrate his colleagues life. This is what he posted "It is a sad day that we loose another colleague Honourable John Oroo Oyioka, MP of Bonchari constituency. My deepest condolences to his family, friends and constituents. May God grant them peace at this time of mourning. May his soul Rest In Eternal Peace."
