Uhuru Gives a Hint On Curfew Extension

President Uhuru Kenyatta has today given a hint of possible curfew extension.

The Head of State revealed this during the 10th anniversary ceremony of the Kenya Defense Forces (KDF) today 16th October that was held at Kahawa Barrack.

President Uhuru Kenyatta said that he can extend the Curfew for more days after noticing an increase in newborns in the area.

Uhuru also added that he is currently happy with the development and his wish is the country to grow at that pace.

"Vile nimeona leo hapa Kahawa, inaonekana hii curfew lazima iendelee. Watoto mumejaza hapa jameni, ni wengi. Wacha hii curfew iendelee. Tunataka Kenya iendelee kukuwa namna hiyo. Mungu awabariki wote", Said President Uhuru.

Curfew was extended for other 30 days by Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe on 4th October.

The government is expected to give a national update about the update on 3rd November.
