He further explained what transpired last weekend was normal discussion on how the region shall benefit from DP Ruto's government.
He then said after a meeting of 62 Members of Parliaments from Mt Kenya region, 11 Member committee where he is the chair were nominated to initiate talks with the Deputy President on the economic revival of in their region in the next government.(Courtesy photo)
He revealed that the same committee held a meeting on Thursday to come up with the roadmap for the negotiations and engagement. He said they have drawn their proposal and have requested an appointment with the Deputy President to discuss the roadmap and terms of engagement.(Courtesy photo)
He said their discussion will be in two phases. The first phase will be on economic revival of their region by agreeing on the pre-requisite programs and intervention.
He said once they have agreed on the first phase, they shall then discuss their involvement and participation in implementing the agreement economic intervention and general governance of the country.
