Days are counting and it is now less than 40 days for Kenyans to go for General Election. Various candidates are campaigning across the country for various positions as they convince citizens to vote for them coming 9th August.
In Nairobi gubernatorial race, we have two popular candidates who are contesting to be the next Nairobi Governor. These candidates are Polycarp Igathe and Senator Johnson Sakaja.
Polycarp Igathe is a Kenyan businessman, politician and corporate executive. He also acts as the Chief Commercial Officer in Equity Group Holdings. He had earlier served as the Vice President in charge of sales and marketing in Vivo Energy. He is now contesting for the Nairobi Governor with Jubilee party ticket.
Sakaja Johnson Arthur is currently the Senator of Nairobi as he was elected in 2017. He had also serve as nominated MP as he was nominated in 2013. He is currently contesting to be the next Governor of Nairobi with UDA ticket.
