President Who Holds The Record Title For The Longest Speech Ever Delivered At The United Nations

The united nations is an international organization founded in 1945.UN and it's work are guided by the purposes and principles contained in it's founding charter.

UN remains a one place on earth where all the worlds nations can gather together, discuss common problems and find solutions that benefits all humanity.The general assembly is an organ of the united nations.The general assembly meet under it's president or the UN-Secretary general.These meetings involve annual sessions at UN headquarters in New York City.The Main part of these meetings run from September to part of January.The first session was convened from tenth January 1946 in the Methodist central hall in London and included representatives of the 51 founding nations.

During these meetings the delegates from different countries are given the chance to present their views on the matter being discussed.The document "list of speeches and visits made by the Heads of States and dignitaries"gives the length of speech times for statements made from 1945-1976.

The longest timed speech listed in the above document was made by Fidel Castro of Cuba at 872nd meeting on 26 separate 1960.The time listed is 269 minutes or 4 hours and 29 minutes.
