Here are the Details of the Speech That President Uhuru Kenyatta Skipped on Tuesday Evening

While delivering his annual address on the State of the Nation, president Uhuru Kenyatta admitted that he had gotten strained and hence skipped part of his speech as earlier prepared for him.

It had since emerged that the skipped part of the speech detailed with the gains that his government has experienced during the strained education calendar to to the impacts of the novel Corona virus pandemic.

"I'm also getting tired. I will try to skip some bits of this speech..."president Uhuru Kenyatta noted to the laughter of some of the dignitaries who were listening to him all along as he spoke.

In his speech, the Head of State wanted to talk about the additional KSh. 6.5 Billion that was facilitated from the Treasury to the Ministry of Education.

That huge amount of money was aimed at hiring of 10,000 teachers and 1,000 ICT interns to support digital learning and acquisition of 250,000 locally fabricated desks.

The same was facilitated to the Teachers Service Commission who have since ensured that I terms have been hired to try and meet the teacher deficit in the country.
