Kenyans today woke up to the news in dailies that, the 2022 general elections might be extended, owing to the fact that there are so many political decisions to be made, yet it is only few days remaining for the general elections to be held. At the heart of this is BBI Referendum, which is still in the offing and was suppose to be conducted in June this year, but has been pushed pending the tabling of BBI report in Parliament.
Taking to his Twitter account, Dp Ruto's ally and nominated senator Millicent Omanga, reacting to today's newspaper saying that Uhuru's term must be extended, said that it was all a joke and that they will arrest and jail him.
"This is a stinking joke. We will simply arrest and jail him.Finish and go," Omanga posted.
Here are some of the reactions of Kenyans on her twitter account.
Collins: You are nominated by the ruling party, but you sound like an outsider madam! Why?
James: Careful now we don't want to hear stories that you didn't get the text of a party meeting during your next disciplinary meeting!
Victor Arap :The sins of this government will follow you wherever you go, and tears of the vulnerable Kenyans will haunt you because you decided to eat their taxes and deliver nothing. You have been campaigning throughout and giving handouts yet you're nominated and never won any election.
