Speaking to the press Mandago said he is fit to be the Country's president after the term of deputy president William Ruto ends as president.
"I want to declare here without fear of contradiction that after serving as governor for two terms I am now now for the top seat and come 2032 I will be vying for presidency," said the Uasin Gishu County governor when speaking to the press.
Governor Mandago who was elected on a Jubilee party ticket is serving his second and final time in office as Uasin Gishu governor.
He is also a big supporter of the deputy president William Ruto's 2022 presidential bid.
But his bid has been rubbished by the dynasties led by COTU secretary general Francis Atwoli and Jubilee party vice chairman David Murathe who have termed him as corrupt and cannot be trusted with country's leadership.
"I have ten years to prepare for the presidency therefore continue praying God me so that my prayer can come to pass.God help me so that in 2022 I be elctsd as president," Mandago added.
He thanked Uasin Gishu resident for electing him as their governor for two terms in a row.
"From the bottom of my heart I want to thank you for believing in my leadership by electing me as your Governor and I will continue working for you until my term in office ends," the Uasin Gishu governor said.
He called upon those who be seeking to be elected Uasin Gishu governor to campaign and avoid dividing Kenyans basing on their political and tribal affiliation
"I want to advice those who will be vying for presidency please campaign peaceful andet wananchi decide who needs their next governor
