"Raila & Ruto Be In The Know" Aaron Cheruiyot Sends A Stern Warning Over Government's Project

Kericho senator Aaron Cheruiyot has sent a stern warning to the government over Rironi-Mau summit road.

The vocal senator who is a close ally of deputy president William Ruto has warned that Kenyans residing in the Western part of the country including Rift Valley, and other lake basin region will not pay to use the Highway which is being constructed.

Cheruiyot has argued that the highway should be used for free and the bill used for its construction should be paid by all Kenyans just like other public debts.

He has informed deputy president William Ruto and former prime minister Raila Odinga that they should be aware of the development.

"The same way all public debt is shared amongst all Kenyans, this one too shall follow suit. Whatever it takes! Not a penny shall we pay. Citizens of the western part of the country r not second class citizens."

This comes after government made it clear that the highway will not be used for free as it is a project done under public-private partnership.
