Ruto's Allies Accuses Two Leaders of Planning To Interrupt His Tour In Nyeri

Leaders allied to Deputy President William Ruto have revealed that some competitors are planning to interrupt his tour in Nyeri. Kiruga Thuku and Dennis Itumbi accused some leaders allied to ODM leader Raila Odinga of having a plan to cause chaos when Ruto tours Nyeri.

DP Ruto will be making the tour to Nyeri just a few days after former prime minister Raila Odinga visited the area. Raila toured the region for two days. Thuku on his Facebook page shared a statement saying that Nyeri Member of Parliament Ngunjiri Wambugu and his friend Kieni MP Kanini Kega have a plan to disrupt the upcoming meeting.

"They should not dare because the kieleweke team is the minority one in Nyeri County, we never interfered with their meeting and we expect the same,' Thuku stated.

He told them to keep away from the venue of the meeting as he was very sure they were planning something. He further added that Ruto will host a peaceful meeting and nothing more.
