Kanini Kega Indirectly Mocks Ruto After Raila Pulled Mammoth Crowd in His Meru Rally

Kieni Member of Parliament Kanini Kega has continued with his online onslaught against Deputy President William Ruto.

On Monday, October 18, the vocal MP took to his Facebook page to indirectly attack the DP after he accompanied ODM leader Raila Odinga in his Meru County tour.

In his message, Kanini Kega took a swipe at the Deputy President saying the Meru rally has washed away political gains he had made in the region from the ODM leader's rally.

In a reference to the word "Tapeli" that the DP has commonly used in his campaign rallies, Kanini Kega said the Meru rally marked the end to the use of the phrase adding that a revolution has been launched in the Mt Kenya region.

"Tumefinay mtu leo hapa meru. Mambo ya kuita watu tapeli itaisha," he noted.

Kanini Kega is one of the Jubilee MPs from the region who have been against the DP's presidential bid.

He has been candid in propagating the agenda of the ODM leader in the region, a development that has seen the ODM leader reap big according to recent opinion polls.
